Good Governance
Governance can be described as the process of by which decisions are made how they are implemented (or not implemented). A country that has good governance is one that public institutions conduct public policy, manage public resources, and protects the right of the public. Some characteristics of good governance are:
Participation, rule of law, transparency, responsiveness, and consensus oriented equity and inclusiveness, effectiveness and efficiency, accountability.
If successful, these characteristics assure that corruption is controlled, and minorities and the most vulnerable members of society are taken into account of and heard. In Nepal, the governance process is mainly dominated by corruption. Reform Forum fight against corruption will lead to the goal of good governance.
