Institutional Norms & Values of Reform Forum
The Reform Forum committed to internalize the following institutional norms and values in its all programs and activities:

Democracy:

The organization's main objective is to strengthen democratic practices by realizing the fact that good governance is not possible without democratization. The Reform Forum underscores the importance of radical improvements on existing governance practices and democratization for overall reforms. Reform Forum internalizes the complete democratic practices in its all activities and programs.

Integrity:

It is almost impossible to bring about reforms only by formulating strict policies and enforcing laws without individual and social integrity. State and civil society, therefore, cannot bring about the desired changes in governance system unless we make efforts to develop integrity among the rulers of Nepal. Reform Forum will promote and advocate the National Integrity System, which would significantly contribute to ensuring governance reform and corruption control.

Honesty:

Honest it the part of integrity. Society cannot move forward without honesty towards national and social interest. Honesty forms the principal guideline for integrity system. Therefore Reform Forum will always pay due respect to honest and ethical efforts for reform in the agendas we set forth.

Independence:

The Reform Forum is established and promoted as an independent and politically non-affiliated institution to work for governance reform, anti-corruption and good governance in Nepal. The Forum believes that no governance reform is possible by bias political interests & affiliations, nepotism, favoritism, preconceived notions, personal agendas and forcible guidelines.

Transparency:

Research and studies on governance sectors show the trend of corruption increasing in geometrically in countries with non-transparent national practices. Therefore, Reform Forum will be governed in a transparent way and maintain maximum transparency in its all activities. Being transparent in its governance system, the Forum will also advocate for transparency in other institutions, in all walks of life.

Accountability:

It is felt difficult to promote good governance due to unaccountability in activities performed in the government sector. Unaccountability degrades the quality of service delivery. Therefore, the Reform Forum will always adopt responsive and accountable work procedures and maintain accountability in all its institutional activities.

Peace & Development:

Development is not possible without peace. All dimensions of development are associated with peace. Therefore, the Reform Forum will help in peace and development process. The organization advocates sustainable peace and development by curbing corruption.
