ReMAC Nepal

The Research and Media Center Against Corruption (ReMAC Nepal) was established to study, research and monitor all irregularities prevailing in different sectors of Nepal. ReMAC is made up of journalists who have dedicated themselves towards the goals of good governance and fighting corruption.

In order to achieve ReMAC's goals, it will conduct independent and fair investigations with the aim to disseminate the findings to the public effectively through mass media. Simultaneously it will promote and advocate the need of good governance to civil society in order for the public to become active participants towards the achievement of good governance, transparency, economy, and simplicity. ReMAC will trace the roots, causes, and origins of corruption and why it is so prevalent in Nepal. Based on these studies, ReMAC will conduct in-depth analysis of such trends and come up with evaluations, conclusions, and recommendations to the concerned stakeholders, government and non-governmental alike.
